Pros and Cons of a Dripping Atomizer

I love dripping atomizers, but there are high and low for this kind of atomizer. This is my thoughts on here's what I've come up

Pros:

  • Better flavor and better vapor production

Rebuildable atomizers have a airhole placed near or directly onto the wick and coil, thus making the ejuice/eliquid much more flavorful and much better vapor production.

  • Easier to rebuild

- Thats why its called rebuildable atomizer, just wrap a coil around a wick (whether coton or silica) then place it on the atomizer and your good to go!

  • Easily switch different kind of eliquid

-If you're bringing tons of different eliquid flavors with you, dripping atomizer is best for you. Unlike tank or genesis style atomizer you may first empty your tank before switching to a another flavor. With a dripping atomizer you may just dry burn your atomizer and start dripping new flavor in you dripping atomizer.

  • Easier to clean

Unlike any other tank type or genesis type atomizer. Dripper atomizer are easy to clean, no need to take off many parts. In a dripper you only need to remove the top cap and you are ready to clean your atomizer. I usually clean it with cloth, or toothbrush and dishwashing soap on hard to reach areas of the atomizer (in between poles, etc.)

  • Basically Indestructible

Drop it, or throw it. No moving parts to break, no glass or plastic to break. Dripping atomizer are very durable compared to other atomizers.

  • Sub ohm build, Multiple Coils awesome vapor and flavor production

Dripper are great for sub ohm build (1.0 ohmz below). Some Variable Voltage/Wattage mods can't fire 1.0 ohm below builds or multiple set of coils. So having a mechanical mod is the best. Fully charge 18xxx series batteries can reach up to 4.2 volts and can fire 1.0 ohmz below builds, which you cannot do with a variable voltage/wattage mod. Mechanical mods are also great if you're building dual, tri, or quad coils

Cons:

  • Holds less juice

Because it has no tank and reservoir for ejuice/eliquid, the juice capacity is minimal, it depends how many drops of juice your build can take. Some has juice wells built in a atomizer, but it will not last long, you will need to re-drip again sooner or later.

  • Obviously you cant Drip when there's no light

Dripping in darkness is hard, especially when you are lying on your bed wanting a last puff from your e-cigarette before you sleep. Then suddenly you realize you're dripping all over your shirt! My tip on this one is buy a glow-in-the-dark drip tip to at least guide the nozzle of your e liquid bottle through your drip tip.

  • Dripping while driving is dangerous

-Dripping atomizer and driving is a bad combination to start with, it is the same as texting while driving.  You must have a assistant or dripping buddy to help you drip while driving, or, only drip when in a traffic/stop light or when safely parked. I don't really recommend this tip but if you really insist on dripping and driving, I recommend you to buy a wide mouth drip tip, so that you no longer need to remove the drip tip while driving. Or just buy a tank or genesis type atomize its much safer to have your eyes on the road.

  • Over dripping equals gurgling or leaking thru airholes

Over dripping can cause gurgling and leaking through the airholes. Just drip enough liquid to saturate the wicks
