How to Get Free 18650 Batteries For Your Ecigarette

If you think your ecig batteries doesn't last long, the way they should. Then its time to hack or salvage free batteries from an old laptop.

Opening the battery takes a lot of patience and care. There are no screws on the battery pack and it is sealed with some strong adhesive.. Pry it open using a flat head screwdriver running along the seams.

The battery are now exposed but they are soldered together on the positive and negative poles by a thin metal connectors. Take extra care  and remove them gently one by one.

The metal connectors are very sharp, one wrong move and you'll cut yourself.

I've got 6 18650 batteries from this single laptop battery pack, now you must test their voltage by using a multimeter. If it is above 2.0 volts then your battery are alive, if it is below 2.0 volts you batteries are dead. You can revive dead batteries by using a Xtar VP1 charger.

Remember to use electrical tape if battery has exposed metal. If left untaped then it may cause a short on your mod.

Sample Build: Dual Micro Coil .32 Gauge

Here is a sample micro coil cotton build.. .

32 gauge Kanthal wire wrapped on 2.4mm flat head screw driver vertically position on each side of poles firing at .5 ohmz. Cotton is placed over and between the poles for maximum juice capacity :D.

Flavor and throat hit is good but make sure to always make the coil soaking wet with your favorite ejuice. DO NOT DRY BURN. If you want to dry burn make sure to remove the cotton first. Every morning I always replace cotton.

Kayfun Atomizer 3.1 Got Cloned!

Kayfun 3.1 by SvoeMesto had been cloned and it's called the "Rocket" and it is available already at your favorite chinese clones resellers for around "$13 dollars!!" and that's dirt cheap compared to the original kayfun which costs around $175.

This clone features a airhole placed directly under the poles where you put your wick (the same as the legit kayfun). It also featured a adjustable airflow control on the bottom of the atomizer which you can adjust or select. It has the same 5ml ejuice capacity which you can see through the plastic tank encased in aluminum and chrome plated metal. It has a 510 threaded connection which you can use on most PV today (clone or not). The drip tip is still not interchangeable (I wish if they cloned it they must have change the drip tip socket to accommodate different kinds of drip tips)

The one thing I hate about this clone is that it its chrome plate, its not pure stainless steel. Overtime the chrome plating will definitely wear off revealing the metal inside (probably brass).

Overall not a bad price for a kayfun clone, some sites like will offer this $40 or more. But choose the one that are cheapest because you may or may not like this atomizer performance and build quality so under $20 dollars is worth cheap risk :D.

250 Bottles of E-juice Sample Packs? Anyone?

Recently I stumbled upon a website that sells 250 10ml bottles for a whopping $1200 bucks. It's ok if you have deep pockets, but the problem here is if you can empty those bottles within a year. Because ejuice shelf life is around 1 year only. So if you can gulp up 10ml juice per day then its ok, but i'll doubt that you like half of those bottles and the other half not. Dual Micro Coil .32 Gauge Sample Build

Just wanna share you my sample micro coil cotton build :D

Materials used:

.32 Gauge Kanthal Wire

2 Pins

Unbleached sterile cotton

Note: Use pins to guide it to the positive and negative poles, make necessary adjustments and alignments before locking it in the atomizer. Then remove the pins.

Specs:

10 wraps of .32 gauge kanthal on each pin

Resistance is around .7 to 1 Ohms

Note: The coils are positioned on top of the cotton. Use a flat head screwdriver to push the cotton under the coils, use more cotton around the juice well of the atomizer to avoid leakage of juice.
